Sliding Door Repair · Las Vegas, NV

Sliding door repair in Las Vegas — rollers, track, glass and locks.

Most sliding glass doors that stick, drag, or fog do not need replacing. We diagnose the door, quote the smallest fix that actually solves it, and only recommend a new unit when the frame itself is the problem.

Repair first, replace only when it's right

Almost every sliding glass door complaint we hear in the valley — "it takes two hands to open," "it grinds," "the glass looks cloudy," "the lock won't catch" — has a repair option without replacing the entire door.

Your project is quoted individually after an assessment of opening sizes, selected products, glass specifications, and installation requirements. Request a written proposal for your home.

The assessment is free, the diagnosis is documented, and repair and replacement options are explained when both are suitable.

Sliding door problems we repair

What actually goes wrong on Las Vegas patio sliders, and what the fix looks like:

Door is hard to slide or grinds

Worn or flat-spotted rollers. Replaced with stainless tandem assemblies rated for the panel weight, then re-adjusted to height.

Track is packed, worn, or dented

Monsoon grit and twenty summers flatten the track lip. We clean, straighten, and cap it with stainless so new rollers run smooth.

Fogged or cloudy glass

Failed insulated-glass seal. If the frame is square we replace the glass unit only — no new door required.

Cracked or broken pane

Tempered replacement glass cut to the panel, installed with fresh glazing and seals.

Lock, latch, or handle failure

New keyed hardware, multi-point latching, anti-lift blocking, and a reinforced interlock at the meeting stile.

Door jumps off the track

Usually a dropped panel plus a crushed track. Straightened, re-shimmed, and blocked so it seats and stays.

Torn or bent screen

Matched roller screen with new mesh and wheels, so the door actually gets used again in spring.

Draft, dust line, or water at the sill

Weatherstrip and sill seal replacement. Standing water or rot at the sill is the one case where we recommend replacing the unit.

When repair stops making sense

A single-pane aluminum slider from a late-1980s or early-1990s valley build can be made to glide again, but it will still be the hottest surface in your house in July. If comfort or your power bill is the reason you called, new rollers do not fix that — the frame conducts heat straight into the room.

The same is true of a frame that has gone out of square, a sill with water damage, or a panel that has already eaten two sets of rollers. In those cases we show you the repair scope and the sliding glass door replacement scope side by side and let you decide.

Why homeowners call us for repairs

We never subcontract — ever

100% W-2 veteran-led employees. The national window companies sell the job and hand it to subcontracted crews; the team that measures your openings is the team that installs them, and the only company on the hook is us.

Double lifetime warranty

Materials and our workmanship, covered for as long as you own the home. Not prorated.

Built for the Mojave

Glass packages and frames specified for 115° summers and relentless UV — not a national spec sheet.

Honest, same-day project quotes

One visit, one written quote, no four-hour pitch and no 'today only' pressure.

Permits and HOA handled

We pull Clark County permits and prepare HOA architectural submittals for you.

Energy math, not guesses

We model your cooling load so you know what the upgrade should save before you buy.

Sliding door repair across the valley

We repair and replace patio sliders throughout Clark County with our own W-2 crews — nothing subcontracted, and the person who diagnosed your door is the person who fixes it.

Service areas: Henderson, Summerlin, North Las Vegas, Spring Valley, Enterprise, and Boulder City.

Frequently asked questions

How do I request a sliding glass door repair assessment?+

Your project is quoted individually after an assessment of opening sizes, selected products, glass specifications, and installation requirements. Request a written proposal for your home.

Can you replace the rollers on my sliding glass door?+

Yes. Roller and wheel replacement is the single most common sliding door repair we do. We lift the panel, replace the tandem roller assemblies with stainless units rated for the panel weight, clean or re-shim the track, and re-adjust the height so the door glides with one finger.

Why is my sliding door so hard to slide?+

In this valley it is almost always one of four things: worn or flat-spotted rollers, monsoon grit packed into the track, a bent or crushed track lip, or a panel that has dropped out of adjustment. All four are repairable without replacing the door.

Can a bent sliding door track be fixed without replacing the door?+

Usually yes. A dented or worn track can be cleaned, straightened, and fitted with a stainless track cap that gives the new rollers a smooth surface. We replace the whole sill track only when it is corroded through or the panel no longer seats.

My glass is foggy between the panes — is that repairable?+

That milky haze means the insulated glass seal failed and the gas fill is gone. The glass unit is replaceable on its own if the frame is square and sound, when the surrounding frame is suitable.

Do you repair sliding door locks and handles?+

Yes. We replace broken latches, handles, keyed cylinders, and add anti-lift blocking and reinforced interlocks — the security upgrade most 1990s valley sliders never had.

When is repair the wrong choice?+

When the frame is out of square, the sill has water damage, the unit is single-pane aluminum, or the panel is so heavy and warped that new rollers will fail again. We tell you that at the visit instead of selling a repair that will not hold.

Do you offer sliding door repair near me in the Las Vegas Valley?+

We service the whole valley — Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Mountain's Edge, Anthem, and unincorporated Clark County.
