Installation is where most window projects go wrong
A premium window installed badly performs worse than a cheap window installed well. The failure points are always the same: an opening that's out of square, missing or reversed flashing, foam packed so tight the frame bows, and a perimeter bead of caulk doing a job that needed insulation.
You won't see any of that on install day. You'll see it two summers later as a draft, a dust line on the sill, or moisture staining the drywall below the sill.
That's the case for in-house W-2 crews. Nobody is racing to a second job across town on your dime.
Our installation checklist — every opening, every time
- Laser-measured openings, custom-built to the quarter inch
- Full frame inspection with stucco and framing repair if needed
- Perimeter foam insulation and code-compliant flashing
- Interior and exterior trim finished the same day
- Post-install operation, lock, and air-seal verification
- Complete cleanup and old-unit haul-away included
What install day looks like
- 01
Arrival and protection
Drop cloths, floor protection, and furniture moved back from every opening before a single window comes out.
- 02
Removal and inspection
Old unit out, opening inspected for rot, termite damage, and out-of-square framing. Anything we find, you see and approve before we proceed.
- 03
Prep and flashing
Sill pan and flashing installed to code so any water that ever gets behind the unit drains out, not into your wall.
- 04
Set, shim, and seal
Unit set level and plumb, shimmed to spec, low-expansion foam at the perimeter, exterior sealed against wind-driven dust.
- 05
Trim and verify
Interior and exterior trim finished, every sash tested for smooth operation and lock engagement, air seal verified.
- 06
Cleanup and walkthrough
Old units and debris hauled away, glass cleaned, and a full walkthrough with you before we register the warranty.

Frequently asked questions
What does a proper window installation include?+
Laser measurement of every opening, removal and disposal of the old unit, inspection and repair of the frame and sill, code-compliant flashing, perimeter foam insulation, full exterior sealing, interior and exterior trim, and an operation and air-seal test on every window before we leave.
How long does window installation take per window?+
A standard retrofit window takes roughly 45-90 minutes with a two-person crew. Most whole-home projects in the Las Vegas Valley finish in a single day; larger homes or jobs needing stucco repair take two.
Do I need a permit to replace windows in Las Vegas?+
Clark County and the valley cities generally require a permit for window replacement, and always when the opening size changes. We pull the permit as part of the job — you don't file anything.
Will installation damage my stucco or drywall?+
Retrofit installations leave stucco largely untouched. Full-frame replacement disturbs the surrounding stucco by design, and patching and texture matching are included in our scope — not billed later as an extra.
Can you install windows I bought somewhere else?+
We install our own engineered window line only. That's what lets us warranty both the product and the labor together for the life of your ownership — if we don't control the unit, we can't stand behind the whole system.
What happens if a window is wrong or damaged on arrival?+
We inspect every unit before install. If one is off-spec or damaged in transit, we re-order it, temporarily secure the opening, and come back to finish at no additional cost to you.
